Along with examples of superb castle nut staking examples, it makes sense to show their opposite numbers, and how NOT to stake a castle nut. Most of these came from the factory that way, as if anyone needed more convincing that not all ARs are created equally. Falsus in uno, falsus in omnibus (false in one thing, false in everything), it may be overly harsh to judge the quality of an AR by its castle nut staking, but it is a telling evidence, among others, whether the manufacturer has done its due diligence and paid attention to details.

The "gunsmith" doesn't know the definition of staking.
