We have chosen to carry Ameriglo backup sights for Glocks, for their quality and variety of options. These tall suppressor sight combination sets provide an elevated sight
picture, able to co-witness with slide-mounted miniature red dot optics
and suppressors.
The Ameriglo sights we have chosen to offer are compatible with our OPF (Optics Platform, FCD) line of Glock MOS compatible plates (Optics Platform, FCD), includes OPF-G, RMR, OPF-G, RMRcc, and OPF-G43X/48, RMRcc.
A front sight height of 0.315 is sufficient to provide lower 1/3 co-witnessing for RMR, a front sight of 0.365 also works, it's slightly taller, and takes up more space in the sight window/picture. If the sights have tritium, a front sight height of 0.365 is recommended. If the sights do not have tritium, 0.315 front sight height is usable.
Without tritium or white dots, sight sets with a front sight height of 0.315 are usable, they're lower in P1/P2's sight window. GL-470 with its 0.349" is also suitable With tritium or white dots, sight sets with 0.365 front sight height would be necessary.
GL-411, fits all Glock models, tritium front, no tritium flat rear sight. Front sight height 0.315", rear sight height 0.394".
GL-429, fits all Glock models, no tritium. Front sight height 0.315", rear sight height 0.394".
GL-YTU, fits all Glock models, yellow tritium front, no tritium, U notch rear sight. Front sight height is 0.315", rear sight height is 0.394". Note this is made by Ameriglo but does not come in Ameriglo retail packaging. GL-YTU has a soft edges, serrated rear sight with a U shaped notch.
GL-470, fits all Glock models, no tritium. Front sight height 0.349", rear sight height 0.429", usable with RMR, RMRcc, RCR, RMR HD
GL-811, fits all Glock models, tritium front, no tritium flat rear sight. Front sight height 0.365", rear sight height 0.451", usable with SRO, RCR, and RMR HD (low on the bottom of the window)
GL-815, fits all Glock models, 3 dot tritium (1 tritium dot front, 2 tritium dots rear sight.) Front sight height 0.365", rear sight height 0.451", usable with SRO, RCR, and RMR HD (low on the bottom of the window)
GL-506, fits all Glock models, no tritium for front and rear flat sight. Front sight height 0.365", rear sight height 0.451", usable with SRO, RCR and RMR HD (low on the bottom of the window)
GL-507, fits all Glock models, no tritium. Front sight height 0.407", rear sight height 0.507" (provides lower 1/3 co-witness with SRO, RMR HD, RCR, EFLX and Romeo2).
GL-527, fits all Glock models, no tritium. Front sight height 0.450", rear sight height 0.554. These and GL-526 are the sights we suggest for G43X/48, will provide lower 1/3 co-witness with RMRcc our OPF-G43X/48, RMRcc on G43X ad G48, also works with Leupold DPP, and SIG Romeo2
GL-808, fits all Glock models, no tritium. Front sight height 0.500", rear sight height 0.600" (provides lower 1/3 co-witness with Leupold Delta Point Pro) and SIG Romeo2
BIS, 43X/48 is specifically made for Glock G43X/48, though it fits all Glock models, with tritium options. This is a collaboration between Ameriglo and Forward Controls Design, based on the GL-527 with FCD specific changes
