Description

ASF safety detents are precision machined on Swiss machines in 17-4, and black nitrided.

ASF detents have a 90 degree tip (vs TDP 81 degrees). The original design followed the TDP spec at 81 degrees, we find a 90 degrees detent tip provides smoother rotation and more positive engagement on the ASF. A fringe benefit is the less pointy 90 degrees tip also has more material and wears better. For material, we chose 17-4 for better corrosion resistance.

Detents can wear with use, and are considered wear items, we always recommend keeping spares of safety, take down / pivot pin detents.

Due to the item's low cost and high (and keeps getting higher) shipping cost, free shipping isn't included as shipping cost exceeds a single detent's MSRP. The best way to acquire it is to add it to other items in your order.
