ATA-TTE (tool-less turret, elevation) is an add on elevation turret for ATA-M5, and requires the Comp M5 version of ATA. It will not work without the ATA caps.
ATA consists of two caps and two discs, it allows the user to make elevation and windage adjustments on T1/T2, and the Comp M5 (T1/T2 and Comp M5 versions are different due to the slight larger Comp M5 turret diameter) without removing the cap.
ATA's standard discs are low profile, and require the rim of a cartridge, or a flat head screw drive to make adjustments. ATA-TET in essence is a taller ATA disc, but taller in profile so the user can use his finger to adjust the elevation. A slot is still provided so a cartridge rim can be used to rotate the turret.
ATA-TTE is designed for the ATA Comp M5, while it is compatible with the T1/T2, it is very stiff on a T1/T2 . As with any retrofit design, both ATA and ATA-TTE are 3rd party development for T1/T2 and Comp M5, we had to work within the confines of T1/T2 and M5 design and hardware.
TTE's diameter is small (0.306) by necessity, there simply isn't any room for its diameter to be any larger. A small knob is unforgiving and can be harder to turn than a knob with a larger diameter. On some T1/T2, the turret can be stiff and can rotate the cap in unison. Should this happen, use one hand to hold the cap from moving while rotate the TTE when making elevation adjustments.
ATA-TTE is designed for the ATA Comp M5, while it is compatible with the T1/T2, it is very stiff on a T1/T2, it's rather stiff.
ATA-TTE is only marked for elevation, and ships with a single turret.
Designed and made in USA.
