We like hoodies for their versatility, they can be a layer for cold weather, or a light jacket in the spring and fall. The duck hoodie is made in the USA by Royal Apparel, 100% organic cotton. We had no idea that was a thing, according to organiccottonplus.com:
Organic cotton is grown using methods and materials that have a low
impact on the environment. Organic production systems replenish and
maintain soil fertility, reduce the use of toxic and persistent
pesticides and fertilizers, and build biologically diverse agriculture.
Third-party certification organizations verify that organic producers
use only methods and materials allowed in organic production. Organic
cotton is grown without the use of toxic and persistent pesticides and
synthetic fertilizers. In addition, federal regulations prohibit the use
of genetically engineered seed for organic farming. All cotton sold as
organic in the United States must meet strict federal regulations
covering how the cotton is grown.
but it's soft and comfortable, so we'll be thankful and find a tree to hug for a day.
Sounds good to us, we have already hugged all the trees we could find in Midlothian (TX is our new home state), we thought Greta Thunberg made these herself (how dare you, indeed.) We suspect the organic cotton material is the reason these are more expensive, but these hoodies are rather soft and comfortable, and being nice to mother nature is never a bad thing, village idiots notwithstanding.
The Cygnus logo is in grey, a small and moderately sized on the left chest. Available in black only, in sizes M, L, XL and 2XL.
Thank you Cam N. for modeling the duck hoodie for us :)
