Description

HTP (hammer, trigger pins) is a set of 2 pins, precision machined on Swiss machines in 17-4 stainless steel, heat treated to H900, HTP pins are heat treated and DLC coated (unless the unfinished option is selected).

HTP aheres to TDP dimensions and tolerances, 0.900 long, with a diameter of 0.154 +0.000/0.0005. HTP differs from TDP spec trigger and hammer pins in that they have a shallow cup/dimple at the tips to securely hold a 3/32 punch.

Dimples on trigger and hammer pins aren't new, we didn't like how easily the punch can slip out of the cup on dimpled pins. HTP are not revolustionary, in addition to much better machined on Swiss machines, HTP improves a good feature already present on other pins. HTP also has 3 grooves (vs 2 on the TDP) so both of the hammer spring's "legs" can help retain the trigger pin.

HTP's dimensions and tolerances are straight out of TDP with (0.154", +0.000/0.0005), we don't make them slightly larger in diameter, HTP works with any in spec AR15 or large frame AR style lower receiver.

NOTE: DLC requires periodic upkeep and maintenance, namely, lubrication or oiling. If the DLC coated product (such as ESF-H, ESF-H1, and HTP) appears grey in color, it's a good indication, a quick spray with your favorite lubrication is sufficient.
