These T15 6-32 x 3/8 screws are the same US made screws we use on our OPF-G, RMR. Made in alloy steel, they are rated for 140,000 psi, these screws are immensely strong. The Torx head offers superior protection against stripping.
For OPF, RMR, the strength of the sight to plate is not as important, as the design tightly cradles the sight on the plate, in between the front and rear recoil lugs/fences. Sight to plate screws only need to what they're meant to do, that is to keep the sight planted on the plate, and not what they aren't designed or made to do, which is to handle the G force in recoil. Nevertheless, we over build for strength, nobody asks for weaker screws.
Shipped with 4 screws (from May of 2023), with a small packet (sufficient for multiple applications if sealed properly). The M3 0.5 x 6mm plate to slide (rated for 140,000psi) screws are optional.

Why do screws cost $9.50 (and more when USPS raises its rates again)?
Screws aren't expensive, a Vibra-tite VC-3 packet costs nearly $1 each, but these aren't the biggest factors for the relative high cost, shipping is. We can't ship screws in USPS letter as the screws invariably break through the thin envelope, and the VC-3 packet can be crushed and leak, they must be shipped via USPS or UPS large package / thick envelope that can range from $6 to $8.
The replacement screws we have on our site are mostly provided as a service, there is little to no profit for us. Agency armorers, please contact us re: obtaining or ordering the screws in bulk.
Sight-to-plate, and sight-to-slide screws are consumables in a high stress, high G, and unforgiving environments, as is the case in this application. Threads are under tension when they're torqued to spec, more so when users over torque them. Federal, state, and local law enforcement agencies rarely re-use screws, and armorers replace them either after each battery change (with RMR) or on a scheduled basis.
