TPM-P (Thread Protector, Muzzle), Pistol is a thread protector threaded for 1/2x28. Machined in 303 stainless steel and black nitrided, TPM- P extends past the end of the barrel to protect the 11 degrees target crown from damage.
TPM- P has the familiar flutes we've used on Plan B (TPM and TPM-F) and Xeno (TPM, Xeno) thread protectors. The flutes are open ended towards the muzzle as a visual cue to indicate the orientation, there is a small arrow engraved for the same purpose. TPM- P can be installed both ways, though the correct orientation is with the arrow pointing towards the muzzle. On the inside diameter of TPM- P, the chamfered side should face the barrel's shoulder, while the rebated/recessed end pointed towards the muzzle.

NOTE:
TPM-P is designed to work with any 1/2 x 28 threads, and will cover 0.425" of threaded barrel. Different barrels may have a longer threaded area than TPM-F will cover, we suggest TPM-P be used on pistol barrels only.
