Brandy URF-S (no FA) has the port cover latch channel machined 0.001 or 0.002 too deep, resulting in the port cover leaving a visible gap on all three sides when closed. The upper is otherwise 100% functional.
CMT has taken steps to address this. Meanwhile, we've put together these URF-S v2s with an equally Randy black EPC and reduced the price, we call this bundle Brandy (Randy's sister).
What can one do with this upper? Off the top of our heads: dedicated .22 build, beater AR15, truck gun, vase for flowers you haven't bought for your wife since last year's wedding anniversary, or doormat. Possibilities are endless.
